Happy Wednesday!

Time for Cricut Cardz Challenge #103, this week the theme is "You Take the Cake" Make a birthday card with a cake or cupcake using any cartridges or colors you'd like. Since Birthday's are a time to celebrate, this card base was perfect, it's from Birthday Bash and the Cupcake is from Smiley Cards. I added a little bit of bling for the icing....who doesn't like bling??? Everyone needs a little sparkle!!!

I am using the caramel apple from the Carousel cartridge, this image goes well with Mary's Cardz TV Stamps, the "Candy Apples" sentiment is from the "Thankful for You" set. Mary's stamps are very versatile, this set of stamps were meant for the Fall season, but as you can see, they can be used for any occasion.

Now onto my project, I am featuring "Our love Story" sentiment from Mary's "Be my Valentine" stamp set. When I seen this I knew I needed an image of a book. The hearts behind it just brings in the love theme. My Minds eye has this lovely "Lost and Found" designer paper, with such rich reds and brown tones....perfect! This will be my husbands card for Valentine's Day and I just want to tell you that one of my sentences I put in the inside goes perfect with the theme of the card, it is; "Everyday we live adds another page in our book." I just love this stamp!!!!

Snowman's Prayer!

Happy Friday!!!

It is a HAPPY FRIDAY for me!!!! I have just received the Winter's in the Air Seasonal cartridge, which has one of these lovely Snow Friends snowman on it, so I just had to make one!!! I have been wanting the Snow Friends Cartridge for quite sometime now and they are no longer making it. I do realize it can be purchase for the craftroom, but really don't have the desire to learn that system yet. Anyways back to this cute little guy,  one of the colors just had to be blue!!! ;)  With white and that touch of red, well what can I say, he is just too adorable! I hope you enjoy my card as much as I do!!!

Cricut Cardz Challenge at Cardz TV!!

Hi everyone, it's time for CCC, this week our theme is“Be My Valentine” Make a card for Valentine’s Day using any cartridges or colors you’d like.   I am using the Spring Holiday Cards cartridge. When I seen these little hearts immediately I thought that PKS faces would be great for this card.  I used one of the mats on the cart to make my card base and the Valentine insert. I also added a my own black frame. I hope you enjoy it!
